Our Map & how to arrive to the eco-lodge
We are located 30 minutes by speedboat from Bocas del Toro
Casa Cayuco Eco-Adventure Lodge sits on the secluded beach of Punta Vieja, on the southeast tip of Isla Bastimentos, in the heart of Panama’s Bocas del Toro Archipelago. While we’re off the beaten path, getting here is easier than you might think—and part of what makes the experience so special.
Most guests arrive in Bocas Town (Isla Colón) by domestic flight. From Bocas, we provide scheduled speedboat pickups and drop-offs directly to and from our dock at Casa Cayuco.
We offer one scheduled boat transfer each day:
2:00pm pickup from the Bocas airport (for guests arriving on recommended flights)
3:00pm pickup from our dock in Bocas Town
12:30pm return departure from Casa Cayuco
We send all guests a pre-arrival form to collect travel details and confirm your pickup location and time—so everything is arranged in advance for a smooth and stress-free arrival.
If you’re arriving on one of our recommended flights from Panama City, our boat captain will meet you at the Bocas airport with a sign and escort you to the dock.
How to Get to Bocas del Toro
Fly from Panama City (Albrook Airport) to Bocas del Toro (BOC) – a short 50-minute domestic flight
Travel by land from Costa Rica or other regions of Panama, then take a water taxi from Almirante to Isla Colón
Once you’re here, the adventure truly begins.
Casa Cayuco is:
Just 10 minutes by boat from the postcard-perfect Zapatillas Islands
5 minute boat ride from Salt Creek, the nearby Ngäbe-Buglé indigenous village
Surrounded by lush rainforest, vibrant coral reefs, and the clear Caribbean Sea
