• Paradise Awaits...

An Eco Adventure Resort nestled in the wilds of the Bocas Del Toro. We’re off the grid, but we think you’ll agree- our accommodations are nothing short of Deluxe.

Casa Cayuco was built by Tom Kimbrell and a team of indigenous Ngobe Bugle Indians in 2005.  All of the wood, Nispero, used in the construction of the cabins and lodge is native to Panama.

The main lodge was built as a 3-story post and beam structure to closely resemble a tree house.

The cabins are stand alone, open-air structures with lots of space and private baths.   Covered porches on each cabin are perfectly situated to relax and enjoy the tropical surroundings.

Our electricity comes from the sun.

Our water source is rainwater; caught and purified.

FRESH, FUN AND DELICIOUS FOOD!

Three meals a day and snacks are included in your stay.  From our remote location, we work hard to source the freshest ingredients.  Fish is delivered directly to our dock by local, indigenous fishermen.

All of our meals are chef’s choice, but we are able to accommodate any dietary restrictions or food allergies.  Meals are served at communal tables with all of our guests.

A large table on the dock provides many opportunities for meals to be enjoyed under the stars, while enjoying the phenomenon of bio-luminescence.

Celebrating a special occasion?  Just let us know and we will be glad to arrange a private meal on your cabin’s porch or the dock.

Staying with us for New Years Eve?  A celebration will be planned including a large BBQ on the dock, open-bar, champagne toast and fireworks. There is an additional charge of $60 per person if you are staying with us on December 31st.

High Season is December through April. Green Season begins May 1st.

The rate for a single guest is $235 per night in the High Season and $205 per night in the Green Season.

Ask us about our discounts for groups of 10 or more.

Our apologies but due to the remoteness of our location, for safety reasons, we are unable to accommodate guests under 5 years of age.

Included in the Daily Rate:

  • Round-trip transportation between Bocas Town/Isla Colon to Casa Cayuco.
    • Due to our remote location, the high cost of transportation and impact of our carbon footprint, our normal scheduled pick-up is around 4:30 p.m. and our normal scheduled departure is after lunch around 1:00 p.m.  If your travel plans require an earlier pick-up or departure, we can accommodate you for an extra fee.
  • Comfortable accommodations that are cleaned daily and 24-hour onsite staff.
  • Meals and snacks throughout your stay.
  • Recreation equipment: kayaks, snorkel gear, surf and boogie boards,
and several different styles of stand-up paddleboards
