How to get to Casa Cayuco
From North America or Europe, several major airlines fly into Panama City. If you are not spending time in the city and connecting immediately to a flight to Bocas, you will need to change airports. From Tocumen, the international airport, is about a 30-45 minute drive (depending on traffic) to Albrook, the domestic airport. For tour guide or hotel information, see the Panama City section.
The airlines serving Bocas del Toro are Air Panama (www.flyairpanama.com) and AeroPerlas (www.aeroperlas.com). Both carriers have at least two flights per day.
Upon arrival, we will pick you up in Bocas town at 10:30am. Guests may arrive on either morning flight (AeroPerlas or Air Panama ). The boat ride to Casa Cayuco is approximately 40 minutes, through beautiful mangroves and bays.
At the end of your stay, we will drop you off in town at 2:30pm. When departing from Bocas, please schedule your flight in the afternoon.
In the event that we have a pick-up and a drop-off the same day, we will have one time, 12:00pm, for both. If you would like to request a specific pick-up or drop-off time for your party, we can try to accommodate that. However, there will be an additional surcharge of $90 to cover fuel and boat costs.
